The federal police carried out an arrest warrant in the night from Thursday to Friday (October 29) at Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport.

A 49-year-old German was checked on the entry of a flight from Antalya. The federal police found an arrest warrant from the Göttingen public prosecutor’s office. The Herzberg district court had ordered four days of forced detention against the man, which he had not started. He was able to avert his imprisonment by paying 80 euros. In another manhunt by the Oldenburg public prosecutor’s office, the man, who lived in Varrel, had to confiscate assets amounting to 301 euros. The seizure had been ordered against him on the basis of a penalty order for fraud. Since he did not have enough cash or valuables with him, a garnishment could not be carried out.

After completion of the measures, the wanted person was allowed to continue their journey.
