15-year-old Russian skater won the short program at the Grand Prix stage: Winter sports: Sport: Lenta.ru


Russian skater Anna Shcherbakova became the leader after a short program in the Grand Prix series in China. This was reported by the correspondent "Lenta.ru".

The skater scored 73.51 points for the rental, setting a personal record this season. In second place is Japanese Satoko Miyahara (68.91), in third – American Amber Glenn (67.69). Russians Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Sofya Samodurova took fourth (65.57) and fifth (63.99) places, respectively.

Skaters will present a free program on November 9th. Competitions will begin at 11:30 Moscow time.

15-year-old Shcherbakova, the current champion of Russia and pupil of Eteri Tutberidze, is spending her debut season at the adult level. She won the first leg of the Skate America Grand Prix series with a total of 227.76 points. The Russian woman became the first skater in history to manage to perform two quadruple lutz in the same program at international competitions.
