Also with the warnings from AMC the Walking Dead Season 9 was the last episode of Rick Grimes. Maybe you still do not believe that Andrew Lincoln really leaves the show. But in honor of his recent appearance in "What Comes After", it's only right to experience the most memorable moments of Rick Grimes the Walking Dead, Whether he saved the day, kicked his ass, hung with his son Carl (or "Coral" spoke in Rick) or just made very important stuff and pony, Rick Grimes has given the Walking Dead Fans years beloved – and totally crazy – memories.
While it can not deny that the Walking Dead is an ensemble show, Rick has always been the main character. As in Robert Kirkman's comics, the TV show's viewers first saw the zombie apocalypse through Rick's eyes. Even though a coma meant that he did not feel the epidemic that turned most of the world into Wanderer until months later, he is a natural leader. In every place where Rick was, he almost immediately became responsible.
Because even if he was not in his game – seeing a ghost that was Lori everywhere in prison – he was the best person. For this reason, this author has used the words "Rick Grimes for the President" Living Dead Article for more than four years.
While you may feel as disoriented as Rick did when he woke up in the hospital, it's time to accept the reality of the situation: Lincoln is leaving the Walking Dead, But instead of looking back in anger, prepare for Rick's latest episode with some of his biggest moments over the years.
1When he rode to Atlanta
Although he had just met Morgan and his son Duane, it seemed Rick was the only survivor in the world when he drove to Atlanta with his trusty steed in the series premiere. This scene comes straight from the comics and parallels of how Rick will ride a horse in his final episode.
2The major interventions
Rick, always a visionary, was the first to suggest using Walker blood and offal to camouflage his living scent. Rick and Glenn already tried this experiment in the second episode and quickly became friends.
3When he killed Sophia
When no one else could bear killing Carol's revived zombie daughter Sophia in Season 2, Episode 7, Rick took the matter into his own hands and shot her as the fearless leader he is.
4When he killed Shane
Season 2 also taught the audience that in the zombie apocalypse sometimes non-zombified people have to be killed for the benefit of the group. When Rick's beloved old buddy Shane left the deep end and tried to kill Rick, Rick could do nothing but kill him first in the penultimate episode. "That's you, not me, you did that to us!" Rick cried. But Shane has lived on through Judith, his child with Lori, whom he elevates as his own, like the champion he is.
5The birth of the Ricktatorship
Rick killed Rick when he showed in the season two finale when he declared, "This is no longer a democracy." And so the Ricktatorship was born. In the immortal words of David S. Pumpkins: "Do you have questions?"
6Things & Thangs
One of the funniest memes from which one was born the Walking Dead comes from the way Lincoln uttered the word "things" ("Thaaaangs") when he was rejected in the premiere of the third season of Lori.
After watching Rick's latest episode, it's wise to take a look at Rick's "junk and junk" to cheer up, as you'll never see Rick and junk again.
7When he amputated Hershel's leg
Some of the stuff That Rick was in Season 3 saved Hershel from becoming a wanderer. Thanks to Rick's quick thinking and Hatchet skills, he also amputated Hershel's lower half of his leg in the Season 3 premiere. First amputate, later ask questions. It's worth noting that in the next episode, Rick kills captive Tomas with a machete on his head. Machete again first, later questions.
8thHis reaction to Lori's death
Understandably, Rick really lost it when Lori died in prison in season three, episode 4. Fans focused on Rick's emotional response to Coral in the only way they knew – to remember. For Rick's father jokes, this scene is often used as a background. Honorable mention goes to Rick Hallucination, who receives no-one calls and sees Geist Lori while still mourning in Season 3 later.
9When he escaped the claimers
In season 4, Rick starts out as a peaceful farmer in jail, which was just not fun. But once the prison is overrun with zombies, thanks to the governor, Rick has to return to combat mode. In Season 4, Episode 11, Rick just tries to enjoy a well-deserved rest while Carl and Michonne get a supply. But Rick wakes up as Joe and his claimers flush the house. He uses some super skills to escape and saves Carl and Michonne on the way.
10As he tore Joe's throat
But the most epic interaction Rick had with Joe was in the season four finale. One of the claimers tried to rape Carl and the well – Rick made a part runner himself and bit Joe's neck. Rick, you beautiful, crazy man, you. Rick also calls Daryl his brother, because Rick Grimes is hot and Sweet.
11"They screw up with the wrong people"
As if Rick were not angry enough in the Season 4 finale, he also gives this battle cry after the gang is locked up in a freight car by the Terminus cannibals. And if you needed one more reason to love Lincoln, he originally said, "You're wrong with the wrong people."
12The massacre of the church
… and of course Rick was right. After Carol saved everyone from Terminus and Rick to emotionally unite with Baby Judith, Rick in Season 5, Episode 3, brutally massacred Gareth and the rest of his folksy gang at Father Gabriel's church.
Rick's beard was particularly rewarding in the fifth season, before he sadly tripped him in episode 12.
14His battles with Pete
As a Constituent of the Alexandria Security Zone, Rick had no tolerance for Jessie's abusive husband Pete. He beat Pete in a very bloody fight and started shouting at the people of Alexandria until Michonne turned him down in episode 15 in the fifth season. (Richonne!) Do not worry, he'll kill Pete in the next episode.
After a leap in time, Season 6, Episode 10, showed that the beautiful dicks of Rick and Michonne finally came together. We are not worthy.
16When he was fighting in the junkyard 2
Jadis threw Rick into her junkyard pit to fight Winslow in Season 7, episode 10 against the Scavengers. He wins, of course, but he is totally confused. And in Season 8, Episode 7, Rick has to run another junkyard fight. This time he is dressed only in his boxers.
17Whenever he fought with Daryl
Rick and Daryl's dynamics – and their synchronicity in combat – is one of the most glorious things to come out of the Walking Dead, Even if their relationship does not end in time, let this car and this motorcycle (jump with Rick from one moving vehicle to another) from Season 8, Episode 4, remind you of good times.
18When he took Negan alone
After he promised to kill him (hmm, Over The), Rick faced Negan Mano a mano in season 8, episode 12. Well, technically not Mano a mano Rick used a flaming Lucille as a weapon against this rogue, but it was nice to see Rick Negan let go.
19Every time he said, "Carl"
Like "thangs," Lincoln had a funny Carl pronunciation. And when poor "Coral" died, the fans mourned Rick's son and the fact that Lincoln did not hear so much "Coral".
Now it seems Rick is going to the otherworld with his son. However, expect more memorable moments during his Swan song on November 4th.
