2 dead after the collapse of the Amazon warehouse, says the fire chief

Updated on November 3, 2018 at 8:04 am EDT

Two people are dead after a wall collapsed in an Amazon department store in Baltimore late Friday, the city's fire chief said.

In the past, one person was reported dead and one was missing. The missing person was found under heavy rubble early Saturday morning by the Baltimore City Fire Department, said fire chief Roman Clark.

The streets around the facility were filled with rubble, according to The Baltimore Sun.

It is unclear whether the incident is due to the severe weather in the city, but Clark said the area was getting heavy wind and rain at that time.

No others are reported missing.
