(February 5th, 2023 | Small picture: SGR Karlsruhe) Three competitions – one league: In the second division of the German Swimming Team Competition (DMS), the teams from the north set the tone this time. In the women’s race, the Nord-Staffel, held in Hanover, had the fourth-best team in the overall ranking in addition to the two best-placed teams.
In the men’s competition, the teams from North and South shared the first four places among themselves. The best West Relay teams came fifth in both the women’s and men’s categories.
Although SC Magdeburg is in the top position in both rankings and thus in the promoted position, we will not see the Elbestadt team in the next DMS edition in the 1st league, because the club has already renounced promotion to the upper house.
