Mudryk’s contract with Shakhtar only expires in the summer of 2026. But he recently admitted playing in the Premier League was a dream and would find it difficult to turn down Arsenal.

He told CBS Sports, “Yes [I do dream of the Premier League]. I think everyone dreams of the Premier League.

“It’s hard to say, but Arsenal are a very good team with a very good manager. I like their way of playing. Yes.” [it would be hard to say no] I can’t say no from my side, but the transfer isn’t just my decision and my word.

“We’ll see in the winter. There was a lot of discussion about the transfer and failing (of a deal) and who wants me, but that’s normal. Now I’m in Shakhtar and I want to play in this team.”
