2nd British International School Swimming Meet

The British International School of Casablanca (BISC) organized its 2nd swimming meeting on Saturday, with the participation of 74 children from several schools and clubs.

This sporting event saw the participation of young schoolchildren (boys and girls) representing 5 teams from four schools, namely the Raja of Casablanca, the Tihad Sportif Casablancais, Green Wood School and the British international school of Casablanca, represented by two teams (BISC and Arts and Sports). The students competed in the freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke events.

Speaking on this occasion, the educational director of the BISC, Richard Udy, said: “the organization of the second edition of this swimming meeting, after that of 2019, aims to promote the practice of this discipline among young people. “.

For her part, Nadia Ben Bahtane, the first Moroccan swimmer to successfully swim across the Strait of Gibraltar in 2015, emphasized the importance of providing Moroccan schools with infrastructures dedicated to swimming, that BISC invests heavily in sport and swimming in particular.
