NEW YORK – Three children were taken to a hospital in critical condition after a fire broke out at a multi-family home in the Bronx on Monday, fire officials said.
The fire on Burke Avenue was reported shortly after 9 a.m.
Photos posted by the FDNY on Twitter after the fire was put out showed the top of the building completely charred by flames.
No additional details about the victims or a possible cause of the fire were available.
