Nutritionist Nancy Rahnama says that dehydration is a common medical condition for many people. Dehydration, he said, causes several symptoms including fatigue, constipation and decreased concentration.
The need for fluid per day will vary from person to person, depending on body weight, environmental conditions, physical activity, and bowel function. However, experts generally recommend fluid intake of 8 glasses per day or about 1.8 liters.
