5 things to know about the center of New Orleans Saints Nick Easton

The New Orleans Saints traded fast, replacing the recently retired Pro Bowl center Max Unger, the free agent Nick Easton. Easton is a 26-year-old NFL veteran with starter experience at both watchpoints and in the center where the saints want to play him. Here are five short facts about the newest member of the saints:

In the junior and senior season, he was awarded the All-Ivy League and selected for the team of the Academic All-Ivy League. In his pro-day training in 2015, Easton weighed in at 6ft 2 3/4, 303 lbs and set the 40 yard strike in 5.12 seconds. His 1.64-second split at the 10-yard mark is very impressive for someone his size. Easton also made 29 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press and recorded a 112-inch long jump.
