The changes compared to the November ranking

In its first “5G Experience report Italy” OpenSignal awarded all four national operators, winners in multiple categories of experience of services on next generation mobile networks. In last November’s edition, Tim was first, by a large margin, for both download and upload speeds in 5G.

The former incumbent instead shared the victory in the three experiential awards that measure the experience of 5G users when streaming video, playing multiplayer games and using the communication services of voice apps on a 5G network: 5G Video experience (joint winner con Iliad e Vodafone), 5G Games experience (joint winner con Vodafone) e 5G Voice app experience (joint winner con Iliad e Vodafone).

Also in the last WindTre report was the overall winner in the categories that measure the extent of a 5G network: availability and coverage (availabity e reach).

Opensignal conducts independent studies that measure the mobile user experience for each of the large mobile network operators in the world.
