Brazilian Cuiaba is monitoring the situation with CSKA striker Mauricio Garces. The footballer is having a very strong season, with 12 goals and 4 assists in 38 games in all competitions so far. In addition to being a central striker, during the season the 26-year-old footballer also played in the role of a winger and even a half-back.
Cuiaba’s bosses are very ambitious and apart from appointing a Portuguese coach – Antonio Oliveira, they also have some well-known footballers in their squad. One of them is former Ludogorets star Jonathan Cafu, who is now 31 years old and has returned to his homeland after spells at Bordeaux, Red Star and Arab Al Hazm.
Mauricio Garces is owned by another Brazilian club – Brusque, with whom he has a contract until 2026. He was brought to CSKA on loan, with the club having the option to buy his rights in the summer for 650,000 euros, writes “Mach Telegraf”.
