Her name is April Burrell. Before becoming a patient, April was an extroverted student with high grades, who was studying for a degree in accounting at the University of the East Coast of Maryland, in the United States. But after a traumatic event when she was 21, April suddenly developed a psychosis and lost herself in a constant state of visual and auditory hallucinations. The former university student was no longer able to communicate, shower or take care of herself.
