Breast cancer can be very stressful, both physically and mentally, and both for patients and their families. This is why a virtual clinic, free and accessible at all hours of the day, 7 days a week, has been set up just for them.
Launched on Tuesday by the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation in collaboration with the Dialogue medical support service, the “Virtual Clinic” provides direct access to people affected by breast cancer and their families to remote primary care offered by doctors as well as nurses clinicians and practitioners.
From their computer, smartphone or tablet, eligible people will be able to benefit from diagnoses, prescriptions, care plans, follow-ups, referrals to specialists, psychological support in just a few clicks. And especially when and where it suits them.
