MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) A man accused of a church priest and a new bride in Hampshire pleaded to marry during a wedding that he was not guilty of charges that he had attacked his own lawyer, who had head injuries to him in the hospital.
Dale Holloway was informed this month of six assault charges.
He was accused of hitting his public defender in the face and head, leaving him suffering from hemorrhage and a broken nose.
The pair were meeting after the Holloway arrest in October on the Pelham church firing.
WMUR-TV reports New Holloway lawyer questioned the attacks charges.
A prosecutor said some are based on alternative theories.
