Agents of the National Police of Valencia intercepted on Tuesday a vehicle that circulated on Pintor Benedito street in the Valencian capital with three lambs with their legs tied in the trunk. The driver, 26, lacked a driving license, according to the National Police headquarters in a statement.
About one o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the policemen, who were carrying out prevention work, observed a car that circulated irregularly and changed lanes without signaling the maneuver, and stopped him. They asked the driver to get out of the car, they identified him and located in the trunk three lambs with their legs tied. They asked where they came from, but the man gave them no reason.
The agents made several efforts to find out the origin of the animals that were unsuccessful. They resorted to the collaboration of the Local Police of Valencia to carry out the necessary steps, since it lacked mandatory car insurance, the technical inspection of the vehicle (ITV) and the driver’s license or driving license.
In addition to the detainee, another person was traveling in the car, who was transferred to police units for identification because he lacked documentation. The car was immobilized and the three lambs moved to the center of birds and exotic animals in Valencia.
