A march was held in Istanbul on the 13th anniversary of the “Mavi Marmara” attack

Speaking in the program, Young IHH President Muhammet Cihat Çelik stated that they are here today to shout and remind the same truths as they have been for 13 years.

Çelik said that the Israeli government still consciously encourages radical Jewish communities to raid Masjid al-Aqsa, and ensures their safety in these raids.

Emphasizing that the aim here is to turn Masjid al-Aqsa into a Jewish place of worship, Çelik noted that his brothers resisted there and were witnesses and partners in their struggle.

Beheşti İsmail Songür, Chairman of the Mavi Marmara Association, also stated that 13 years have passed since the bloody repression and that they have been fighting for law in many countries in Turkey and the world during this process.

Stating that the Middle East and Turkey have evolved into a new process with the Mavi Marmara raid, Songür said that the oppression and bloody oppression they experienced 13 years ago has been experienced almost every day in Palestine for the last 75 years.

Songür said that if they had a thousand lives for Masjid al-Aqsa, Jerusalem and Palestine, they would sacrifice a thousand without fear.

In the program where Hak-İş Confederation Istanbul Provincial President Mustafa İluk and Mazlum-Der President Kaya Kartal also gave speeches, Palestinian Fevzi al-Cüneydi told about his experiences in his country.
