A new 31.5 "4K USB-C monitor by Philips-MMD

MMD, which has a license to market screens under the Philips brand, adds a model to its range of USB-C monitors that also act as docking stations. The 329P9H has a VA panel of 31.5 "diagonal and a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) with a maximum brightness of 350 cd / m² and a contrast of 1300: 1. It covers 108% sRGB space and 87% of the Adobe RGB.

The foot is height adjustable and rotates 90 ° to work in portrait mode. An infrared sensor detects the presence of the user to reduce the brightness when it is not in front of the screen.

You can connect a computer to USB-C or to DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0. The USB-C port delivers up to 65 W, which may be insufficient for a 15 "MacBook Pro, which can consume up to 85 W in heavy use.

The Philips 329P9H also has four USB-A 3.1 ports, a gigabit Ethernet jack, a headphone output, two 3 W speakers and a 2 megapixel webcam.

The manufacturer announces an indicative price of € 899. It is more expensive in the few shops that currently market it (979 € at Materiel.net).
