A right to schooling without harassment

A new right for students. MEPs also passed a MoDem amendment on Tuesday, February 12 as part of the Confidence School Bill, which establishes the right to schooling without harassment as a principle of the right to education.

Sanctions must be fixed by decree in Council of State. Among those contemplated is the obligation of the harasser to complete an awareness training on bullying.

A pedagogical scope. The law will better explain this right to children, say its promoters, "Especially in awareness and prevention campaigns (…) to encourage them to stop tolerating certain behaviors ".
