A search campaign for a girl in Saudi Arabia .. and her brother, “we did not find a trace of her”

More than 35 hours have passed since the disappearance of the 11-year-old Saudi girl, Nouf Al-Qahtani, in mysterious circumstances, after she left her home in the Al-Mousa neighborhood in Riyadh, in order to throw waste without returning!

Tweeters and activists on Twitter launched a solidarity campaign to search for her, using the hashtag #missing_Nouf_Al-Qahtani, appealing to anyone who saw her or had any information to contact her family.

While her brother, Thani Al-Qahtani, told Al-Arabiya.net details of what happened on the day of her disappearance, saying that his parents and 3 of his brothers came from the Al-Harajah region in southern Saudi Arabia to Riyadh, in order to conduct medical examinations for his father in a hospital.

“I left and didn’t come back”

And he continued: On Monday morning, Nouf put on her black abaya, and went out of the house, to throw garbage, but she did not return.

He also added, “For 35 hours we have been searching for her, but no trace of her.”

He also indicated that the family had not yet informed his father of her disappearance, fearing for him and his health, especially since he is old.

It is noteworthy that the media in Saudi Arabia were buzzing during the past hours with the disappearance of the girl, while dozens expressed their wish to find her quickly and return her to her family.
