The coronavirus pandemic has hit Spain and the world hard, but it has also shown the most caring side of all citizens. There have been many initiatives that have been launched to try to alleviate the effects that Covid-19 has caused worldwide and also in Spain. The last of these initiatives is #ELGRANRETOSOLIDARIO, in which more than 100 known artists, presenters, influencers and faces They have joined together to collaborate in the response to the greatest challenge of our time, the crisis generated by the coronavirus pandemic, minimize its impacts on the most vulnerable families and groups and prevent them from being left behind.
This social movement has been launched by the Emergency Committee in Spain, with the aim of mobilizing society and channeling solidarity with those who need it most during this crisis. An event that will allow solidarity financial contributions during a great virtual live gala, which will be broadcast next Saturday, May 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on different channels and that will combine music, entertainment and awareness.
Among the confirmed artists are names like Marta Sánchez, Los Morancos, Sole Giménez, Rosana, Ele, Ruth Lorenzo, Soraya Arnelas, Pasión Vega, Lucía Gil, Xuso Jones or María Peláe. The Gala will also feature faces known as Jordi Évole, Frank Blanco, Jacob Petrus, Olga Lambea, Adriana Abenia, Ana Morgade, Nico Abad, Iñaki López, Andrea Ropero, Samantha Vallejo Nájera or Cayetana Guillén Cuervo. In addition, influencers such as Verdeliss, Videópatas or Loulogio, who are going to give up their channels to broadcast the event, have joined the great online Solidarity Gala that will take place next Saturday, May 2, starting at 5:00 p.m. on the web Committee of emergency.
Finance projects of the Emergency Committee
This initiative will serve to finance and expand the projects of Action Against Hunger, Doctors of the World, Oxfam Intermón, Plan International and World Vision, NGO members of the Emergency Committee, who are already working in Spain and around the world, to face the consequences of this pandemic among the most vulnerable sectors of the population due to their economic and social situation.

The NGOs that are part of the Emergency Committee (Action Against Hunger, Doctors of the World, Oxfam Intermón, Plan International and World Vision) have mobilized their teams and launched the emergency response from the outset. He has done it by promoting prevention measures to curb contagion, strengthening health systems (equipment of hospitals and protection of health personnel) and support to the most vulnerable families and communities with water and sanitation, health, food security, child protection and family income generation projects.
