The dog from the town of Santa Bárbara, in the department of Antioquia (Colombia), who had been “lost” in another community for eight days, was found to the great joy of the citizens.
Discovery of the dog caused such a stir in the municipality that when he arrived home, he was greeted with a big party like a celebrity.
Beethoven is the town’s mascot and had been missing for more than a week, but – thanks to complaints and persistence from Antioquia residents – a truck driver said he saw the “four-legged companion” in another vehicle on its way to Valle del Cauca.

According to the story, Beethoven left the village following a couple of tourists, and although it was only for a few miles, when someone from the village asked them about the dog, the couple said they wanted him. would take to take him to shower and go to the hairdresser, after which no more was heard of the dog, only that the couple were asking for money to return him.

Jaime traveled to La Pintada, Antioquia, then Supía and ended up in the city of Manizales, where he asked to see him at police headquarters. On the spot, a patrolman informed him that the dog had been seen in a semi-trailer in the company of migrants.
The Manizales police launched the alert at the height of the municipality of Tuluá, where it was the driver of another semi-trailer who alerted the police when he saw them crossing said municipality.

After he returned to Santa Barbara, citizens of Medellín and other parts of the country offered to give him a tracking chip, collars, and veterinary care.
