An 18-year-old woman was found naked, in shock, in the middle of the street last night in the capital’s 13th arrondissement, learned Le Figaro from a source familiar with the matter. A 45-year-old man was arrested by the police in a white van: he is suspected of having raped her.

The case begins at 2:45 in the morning. A patrol from the anti-crime brigade (BAC) learns that a young woman is walking naked at rue de la Vistule (Paris 13th). Very shocked, the victim is initially silent when the police arrive. After a few minutes, the officials manage to understand that she spent the evening at the bar “the car“, rue de Tolbiac, with a 45-year-old man named Karim.

This man then allegedly lured her into the back of his white van to impose several sexual acts on her, including vaginal penetration and fellatio. After recovering his senses, the victim, originally from Morbihan and passing through Paris, gives a precise description of his attacker to the police: a North African type individual, measuring about 1m65, wearing small glasses.

Investigators immediately track him down. Clothes of the victim are first found at the level of the avenue de Choisy. Then, around 3:40 a.m., the police were intrigued by the presence of a white van, all lights off, parked at the corner of avenue de Choisy and rue de Tolbiac. On board, an individual, alcoholic, corresponding in all respects to the description of the victim. A blanket, pillow, shoes and bra belonging to the victim were found in the back of the vehicle. A ticket from the barthe caris also found in the suspect’s pocket.

The latter was arrested at 3:50 a.m., placed in a drunk tank and then in police custody. This man is very unfavorably known for acts of sexual assault, violence or even theft, tells us a source familiar with the matter. The 3rd judicial police district (3rd DPJ) is in charge of the investigation.
