Aberdeen International Airport (AIA) has appointed Steve Szalay as its new CEO.
After graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Mr. Szalay held a number of leadership positions in the aviation sector, including positions at the British airline Jet2.com and global ground handling company dnata.
He has worked at a number of airports, including London Heathrow, Europe's largest airport, and Gatwick. He will be officially in Aberdeen on Tuesday, November 13th.
Mr. Szalay will work closely with Derek Provan, CEO of AIA's parent company AGS, to complete the third and final phase of an important terminal conversion program.
