In Sortavala district of Karelia, 13 tourists were injured at the exit of the tour bus to the ditch. The incident was reported to the media by representatives of the Unified Duty and Dispatcher Service of the district.
As it will be specified, on October 13 at 19:40 Moscow time, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus with 20 tourists went to the city of Sortavala from the mountain park "Ruskeala". Due to thick fog, the bus at the intersection slid into a ditch, but did not turn over.
As a result of the accident, two people out of 20 were hospitalized, 11 were prescribed outpatient treatment.

The press service of the traffic police department clarified that at the time of the accident the driver of the minibus was sober, he had all the documents in order.
