According to Lara Trump, Joe Biden would be a "reasonable" Democrat who runs for the president

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who is expected to announce his presidential candidacy for 2020 on Thursday, will immediately be the "most reasonable" candidate in the democratic field, Lara Trump said Wednesday.

President Trump's daughter-in-law, who also acts as a consultant for his re-election campaign in 2020, shared her views on Fox News' "Hannity."

"He certainly seems to be taking the most sensible look right now at the candidates we've seen," Trump told host Sean Hannity regarding Biden.

But Trump said Biden might have a hard time going through his party's main process of nomination, as well as addressing the rest of the field, which she described as "radically far left."

"When Joe Biden enters the race, let's see if he can do it," said Trump. "The number of candidates that are so radically far away in this area is unbelievable, so I do not know, maybe Joe Biden has no chance, maybe they're looking for someone so out of the norm – which is crazy for me. I do not think the American people will be behind someone like that. "

Trump, 36, of North Carolina, who has been married to President Eric Trump's son since 2014, said she believes her father-in-law will easily reach re-election in 2020. She also spoke against statements made by US Senator Bernie Sanders, I-VT. That convicted criminals such as the bomber of the Boston Marathon may vote.

Sanders was scrutinized on Monday during a CNN Town Hall event.

"And then, as you just said, you suggested to Bernie Sanders that someone using an event that has such a tradition in America, like the Boston Marathon, is an opportunity to mutilate dozens of people, including children and to assassinate, Sean, and these individuals should be given a vote? "Trump said.

"Are you kidding me? It's crazy we even talk about it."
