Acer Unveils Many Predator and Nitro Series Gaming Monitors with Fast, Quality Matrices

Acer today announced that it has expanded its Predator and Nitro series of monitors with a range of powerful new devices to suit both professionals who need the latest technology and the general public. The Predator XB3 series has been expanded with three new models – the Predator XB273U NV, Predator XB253Q GW and Predator XB323U GX.

The Predator XB273U NV monitor is designed to provide the ultimate gaming experience. The device is equipped with a 27-inch panel based on Agile-Splendor IPS1 technology with a resolution of QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels), a response time of 1 ms, a refresh rate of up to 170 Hz (overclocked), and has a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Delta E color accuracy is less than 1, which indicates good color reproduction. The monitor is certified according to the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard. We add that this is one of the first gaming monitors certified according to the Eyesafe standard.

The Predator XB253Q GW monitor features a 24.5-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS panel, compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, which can be overclocked up to 280Hz refresh rate and response time up to 0.5 ms (GtG). This makes the monitor ideal for first-person shooters and racing games where refresh rates are critical.

The tilt, swivel angle and height of the device can be finely adjusted, and the built-in RGB LightSense lighting with nine different effects keeps it in sync with the beat of music and game sounds.

The Predator XB323U GX with a 32-inch QHD panel (2560×1440 pixels), 270Hz refresh rate (overclocking) and response time up to 0.5ms (GTG) is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC. It offers 99% Adobe RGB coverage and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified to support 8-bit image processing and local dimming.

The Predator X34 GS, on the other hand, features a large 34-inch curved UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) display that works in tandem with an Agile-Splendor IPS panel for crisp images even at wide viewing angles. The NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible display features up to 180Hz refresh rate (overclocked) and 0.5ms response time (GtG). VESA DisplayHDR 400 technology displays every detail, while 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space ensures rich colors. High-quality sound is guaranteed by two built-in 7W speakers

Two new 27-inch models in the Nitro family, the Acer Nitro XV272U KV and Nitro XV272 LV, are aimed at hobby gamers. Both new products have passed Eyesafe certification, guaranteeing protection of the user’s eyesight and additional comfort during use.

The screen of the Acer Nitro XV272U KV monitor has a QHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels), a low Delta E <1, and coverage of 95% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. Agile-Splendor IPS panel refresh rate is up to 170Hz (after overclocking), response time is 1ms (GtG). The device also features LightSense, ColorSense and ProxiSense technologies that enhance usability by automatically adjusting monitor settings based on ambient light.

The Nitro XV272 LV is equipped with an Agile-Splendor IPS panel with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and up to 165 Hz (overclocked) for smooth rendering of even the most animated scenes. The device provides 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and has a Delta E of less than 1.
