He said that the program of the Ramadan basket for workers is being implemented by the Higher Committee formed by the Governor of the Northern State, Professor Al-Baqir Ahmed Ali, under his patronage and headed by the Secretary-General of the State Government, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Manpower as an alternate chairperson and other members, and the representative of the General Secretariat of the State Government, Mr. Al-Fadil Awad, as a member and rapporteur.
He emphasized that the tasks and terms of reference of the committee are the preparation and good arrangement for implementing the basket program in state government units, attracting in-kind and material support for the success of the program, setting a vision for providing the necessary financing for the project, providing the necessary guarantees through bank financing, forming similar sub-committees in the localities, and forming a room headed by the state for follow-up, receiving and distribution.
