Actress Annie Wersching from Star Trek: Picard, among others, has died at the age of 45.
Wersching’s acting career began and ended in Star Trek-universe. Her first role was a guest star in the Star Trek: Enterpriseepisode “Oasis”. Lock in Queen Picard was her last role. In addition, she appeared in several other series and did work in the video game industry, including the motion capture and voice for the character Tess in The Last of Us.
Cancer diagnosis
According to an online fundraiser launched in support of Wershing’s family, she received a cancer diagnosis in 2020, prior to filming Star Trek: Picard. She chose not to disclose this publicly.
“She wanted to live her life, on her terms, and be with her family”will be mentioned in the fundraiser. “She loved her job and cherished her friends, but Steve and the boys were absolutely everything to her”.
No music needed to dance
“There is a huge hole in the soul of this family today”Wersching’s husband, Stephen Full, said in a statement.
“But she left us the means to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t need music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you.” is everywhere.’ And we’ll find it”
Wersching is survived by her husband and three children: Freddie, Ozzie and Archie.
