Actress and artist Margaret Nolan, who had a memorable role in the 1964 classic film “Goldfinger” from the “James Bond” series, died at the age of 76, dpa reports.
The actress’ death was announced on Sunday night by director Edgar Wright, who recently worked with Nolan on the film “Last Night In Soho”, reports Agerpres.
She also starred in 1964’s A Hard Day’s Night, a film about The Beatles.
Nolan played Dink in “Goldfinger,” the third film in the “James Bond” series starring Sean Connery.
Margaret Nolan, who was born in Somerset, England, began her career as a model. As an actress, she has appeared in dozens of movies and television shows over a six-decade career.
Director Edgar Wright recalled that Nolan had a supporting role in “Last Night in Soho,” a psychological horror set in London in the 1960s. The film will be released in April next year.
The cause of the actress’ death has not been revealed.
“She was so funny, clever and, as you can imagine, she knew a lot of amazing stories. I’m glad I met her.”, Wright wrote about Nolan.
