Adele and her husband Simon Konecki have split up.
Representatives of pop singer Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh confirmed the news on Friday in a statement.
"Adele and her partner have separated," said the email statement. "They are committed to lovingly raising their son together. As always, they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment. "
Adele gave birth to her son Angelo in 2012.
The award-winning British superstar was private about her relationship, but confirmed that she had married Konecki when she won the album of the year at the 2017 Grammys. In her acceptance speech, she said, "Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, husband and son, you are the only reason why I do that. "
Adele, known for her top albums 19, 21 and 25, is one of the best selling artists in the world and has won a number of awards.
Konecki co-founded Life Water, an eco-friendly water bottle brand in the UK. The company's funds are donated to Konecki's Drop4Drop charity, which provides clean water to needy countries.
A representative for Konecki could not be reached.
