On Tuesday November 1st our mom, grandma, and great grandma peacefully left us at the age of 93 years.
Adelia was the youngest of a family of seven. She migrated to Canada from Italy in 1954 to be with her husband Osvaldo, where they made Moose Jaw their home and raised their family.
Her strength and work ethics were and still are admired by her children.
We still see her in her garden tending to her beautiful flowers and vegetables, cooking, and knitting for all. And if you would ask, she would say her greatest accomplishments in her life would be her family.
Adelia was predeceased by her husband Osvaldo and her six siblings, Andrea, Luigi, Paride, Rachelle, Lidia and Onorina.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Rita (Craig) Hellings and Linda (Dwayne) Cozart, her granddaughters Rene (Jay) Steinhauer and Rachel (Chris) Bamford, grandsons Austin and Wyatt Cozart, grandson Dallas Cozart Carsland Alberta and granddaughter Bailey Cozart, her great grandson’s Zachary and Emmett Steinhauer, great granddaughters Scarlett and Alannah Pincher Butte, Alberta.
A special thank you goes out to Chez Nous for all the love and support they have shown. We will not forget.
As per Adelia’s wishes a private family gathering will be held at a later time. In her memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon SK S7K 1V9
In living memory of Adelia, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd.
