Adobe is retiring two of its iPhone apps

Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw will soon be retiring on mobile.

After Photoshop Fix and Photoshop Mix, Apple will soon retire two other software. The photo editing giant announces the death of Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw. Not only will the two apps not be updated anymore, they will also be removed from the App Store and Play Store on July 19. However, they will remain usable on the machines on which they were installed.

Adobe justifies this decision by the fact that most of the functionality of Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw has been integrated into another software, Adobe Fresco. The photo editing giant is encouraging users to switch to Fresco and ditch Sketch and Illustrator Draw. The bad news is that the new software isn’t completely free, with premium features billed at € 9.99.

By storing Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw in the closet, Adobe will be able to focus more on its other software. Full end of support for Sketch and Draw is set for January 2022.
