When it comes to the Advent atmosphere, you can go one step further this Saturday when you visit the city centre. At 4.30 p.m. the Christmas tree on the main square will be illuminated. This year, the 150-year-old spruce comes from the Hirschegg-Pack region.
All Christmas markets open
Afterwards, around 5 p.m., there will be a celebration in the Landhaushof. the ice crib will be opened. As in previous years, Kimmo Frosti’s team processed 35 tons of ice for this. If the weather cooperates, the crib can be seen in the Landhaushof until January 7th.
Who then one of Christmas markets wants to visit has a full range of options starting this weekend. All 15 markets are now open in the city’s squares. Some already unlocked a week ago.
