After canceled flights in Salzburg: “It is becoming apparent that this summer will be turbulent”

Eurowings cited corona infections as the reason for the cancellation of six flights. Not all guests got replacements. Despite the incidents, the AK advises against canceling a holiday now.

“I’m flying from Salzburg”: This motto did not apply to all prospective vacationers last weekend.

After the cancellation of six flights by the Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings last weekend, there were only replacements for some of the passengers. For the guests who were supposed to fly to Lamezia Terme (Calabria) with the tour operator Tui on Sunday morning, there was a replacement flight from Munich on Monday at eleven o’clock. The people had to travel there themselves, but these costs will be reimbursed.

The Tui travelers to Corfu did not get a replacement flight. Those Tui holidaymakers who were stranded in the holiday destinations on Sunday because the planes there…
