Saint-Berthevin, on the outskirts of Laval (Mayenne), will host the second local and artisanal food store Bon d’ici, which will open on March 29 with 10 employees. Launched in early 2021 in Rezé near Nantes, the first Bon d’ici has proven its worth, in the form of a large covered market of 800 m2 with 12 employees. From 100 producers at the start in Rezé, there will be nearly 200 at the end of 2022. In Mayenne, “the products come from local agricultural production and farms in Mayenne, Sarthe and Ille-et-Vilaine, within artisanal and never industrial farms”, specifies Bon d’Ici. A third store will follow in Orvault (Loire-Atlantique) in May 2023, with 14 employees. Other regions and cities are being studied: Le Mans, Rennes, Tours, Angers… If successful, Bon d’ici will develop in the Great West (Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Normandy) with two to three openings per year, announces the sign, created by Loïc Le Moaligou, entrepreneur for more than 20 years (co-founder of Houra, Glowria and Lesmobilizers).
