After a plane collision was avoided at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), the Undersecretary of Transportation, of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), and the airline Volaris they started an investigation.

Through a statement, the federal agency reported that authorities from the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) and Navigation Services in the Mexican Air Space (Seneam) applied the research protocols arranged by national and international aeronautical regulations in the event of an incident at the AICM.
