After a plane collision was avoided at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), the Undersecretary of Transportation, of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), and the airline Volaris they started an investigation.
Through a statement, the federal agency reported that authorities from the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC) and Navigation Services in the Mexican Air Space (Seneam) applied the research protocols arranged by national and international aeronautical regulations in the event of an incident at the AICM.
Las aircraft involved in the incident are the N545VL (Airbus A320) flight VOC 4069, which was going to take off to Guatemala; and the one that entered runway 05, XA-VRV (Airbus A320) flight VOI 799, from Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Before said investigation for the incident in the AICM, the undersecretary of Transportation, Rogelio Jiménez Pons, indicated that the resignation of Víctor Hernández Sandoval was acceptedholder of Navigation Services in the Mexican Air Space (Seneam).

Planes avoid collision at AICM
