“Akba Bank’s free business courses for small and medium enterprises were not a business project, but a social responsibility. Together with like-minded people, we were wondering how we would be able to be useful to the business community. This is the main idea behind the organization and implementation of free business courses for SMEs, which we are brilliantly implementing,” says Arsen Melkonyan, Deputy Chief Executive Director for Coordination of Business Functions of Akba Bank.
Ten years ago, Akba Bank created an initiative not so specific to financial organizations, the purpose of which is to transfer additional value to the bank’s partners, customers, and later also to non-customers.
On the updated sme.acba.am platform, it is possible to get acquainted with the schedule and events of the upcoming business courses for SMEs, as well as to use many educational materials and useful templates for business management.
In order to be more useful to businesses, under the Acba Business Partner sub-brand of the bank, Acba has launched a new initiative, AcbaBusinessClub, which aims to create a platform where business can give a new impetus to the development of business in Armenia, as well as greater opportunities for cooperation and new prospects will be created for the benefit of Armenia’s economy.
