SIMFEROPOL, September 13. / TASS /. Head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov criticized the work of the former Minister of Transport of the region Yuri Ovsyannikov, who resigned voluntarily, and promised new resignations in the government of the republic. This was reported by the press service of the head of the region.
"Personnel updates are absolutely natural and will continue in the future," said Aksenov, whose words the press service quotes.
At the same time, he called Ovsyannikov's decision to resign "one of the few right ones" on the part of the former minister. "This is one of the few correct decisions by Yuri Petrovich. The tasks that were put before the Minister of Transport have not been fulfilled, and the management decisions taken deserve an unsatisfactory assessment," the head of the region noted.
He added that Ovsyannikov did not take "effective measures to optimize the road network and the work of public transport, compliance with the timetable of carriers, the replacement of stopping complexes by new ones." "We do not need promises, we need concrete results," Aksenov said.
Since 2014, five ministers of transport have changed in Crimea – Yury Shevchenko, Anatoly Tsurkin, Andrei Besalov, Anatoly Volkov, Igor Zakharov. Ovsyannikov was the sixth.
"Many continue to keep the account of the dismissed officials." I note: it's not a question of quantity, but of quality, "Aksenov added.
