The Chief of the General Staff of the unity government, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Haddad, presented a full briefing to the President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad al-Munfi, on the steps taken to establish a joint military force that includes army personnel from all regions to serve as a nucleus for unifying the military institution, according to what al-Munfi’s office said.
The office of the President of the Presidential Council said, on Monday, that Al-Munfi met with Al-Haddad to discuss the security and military situation in the country, noting that Al-Haddad gave a full briefing on the steps taken to establish a joint military force that includes army personnel from all regions to be a nucleus for unifying the military institution.
And the Chiefs of the General Staff, Muhammad Al-Haddad (West), and the Chief of Staff of the General Command of the Armed Forces, Abdel-Razek Al-Nadhouri, confirmed in a meeting with the commander of the American Military Command in Africa (AFRICOM), Michael Langley, earlier this month in Rome, to move forward in unifying the institution. Libyan military.
And the Army’s Moral Guidance Department in Tripoli said, in a statement, that Al-Haddad and Al-Nadhouri also confirmed the formation of a joint force as a first step to protect the borders, and to adopt a national project to absorb young people and integrate them into state institutions.
