Al-Maqdashi: We will not participate in the liberation of Al-Bayda until after the giants withdrew from the governorate
A close associate of the Governor of Al-Bayda Governorate, Nasser Al-Sawadi, revealed that Defense Minister Muhammad Al-Maqdashi refused the participation of the National Army forces in the battle to liberate Al-Bayda.
Muhammad al-Riyami, who is close to the governor of al-Bayda, published WhatsApp conversations between him and the governor, confirming al-Maqdashi’s rejection of al-Sawadi’s request for the Brotherhood’s army to participate in the battles to liberate al-Bayda.
Al-Maqdashi told the governor, he will not cooperate (with the UAE forces to occupy Al-Bayda), “and he means the giants’ forces.”
Al-Maqdashi set a condition in return for his participation in the operation to liberate Al-Bayda, which is the withdrawal of the forces of the Southern Giants from all the sites in which they are stationed.
The close source confirmed that the governor threatened to submit his resignation after the response he received from the Minister of Defense Al-Maqdashi.
It is worth noting that the forces of the Southern Giants and the popular resistance in the Al-Bayda front achieved great victories and came close to overthrowing the city of Al-Bayda, the capital of the province.
