The fans of Al-Prince Al-Qobba Club stormed the Derna Municipal Stadium and assaulted its host, the African team, in the first-class competition in Jabal Al-Akhdar.
The African players, who advanced with a single goal, were attacked by Pyrenees fans seven minutes before the end of the match.

This attack is the second during the month of June, when an arbitration crew miraculously escaped beating Angry fans During a match in Garnada, Jabal Al-Akhdar, in the second-division football league.
The refereeing staff was then attacked by fans during a match that took place on Wednesday between Al-Tilal Qarnada and Nojoom Al-Reef teams in the second division.
An official with the Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Football Association told Libya News 24 that the match’s refereeing staff narrowly escaped the fans’ attack.
The official, who preferred not to be named, added that the stadium will be closed after the attack.
