Al Sir Marine announced that it had acquired two LPG tankers, in a deal worth 246 million dirhams.
The company, which is affiliated with the International Holding Company in Abu Dhabi, stated that it aims to acquire 15 other ships during the current year, as part of an expansion strategy to become a global company in the field of commercial shipping.
The two tankers, which were acquired, have a capacity of more than 20,000 cubic meters of liquefied gas.
The company expected an internal return on them of about 25%.
Last month, Al-Seer Marine announced the start of construction work for its first giant liquefied petroleum gas tanker, Lucky Gas.
