ANCHORAGE (KTUU) – An Alaska woman was found dead after being strangled. Now the authorities are looking for the man they believe is responsible for the killing.

Just before 1 am on Monday, the Alaska State Troopers reported a body in a residence on Yankovitch Road in Fairbanks.

Inside, authorities found 69-year-old Trisha Pearson of Fairbanks reportedly suffocated after being beaten.

According to investigators, 25-year-old Patrick Marsh Pearson has been killed and her Jeep Cherokee stolen from the house. This jeep was later abandoned in the area of ​​Hamilton Acres.

An arrest warrant has now been issued for Marsh for Murder in the First Degree. AST asks the public for assistance in finding Marsh. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please contact AST at 907-451-5100.

Marsh has a long history in Court View, and in 2014, a plea for an armed robbery was pronounced for 5 years.

Since his release, he has been arrested three times. On April 23 this year, he was arrested for crimes, violation of the release conditions and reckless vulnerability.
