Ali Maher: Assiuti offensive like Zamalek .. We do not fear Ahli “the best in Africa”

Ali Maher, the coach of Assiuti, confirmed that his team had scored a distinguished season and achieved unprecedented records in its history. He confirmed that he scored the same number of Zamalek goals in the Egyptian league this season.
Maher said in a statement to “echoing the country” on Monday: “I scored 41 goals equally with Zamalek, and this is not repeated frequently, to become one of the strongest five teams after Ahli, Ismaili, clearing and Egyptian.”
“I reached the quarter-finals with the team in the Egyptian Cup, too, and I always told the players in the lectures that those figures are historical for the club, although most of them earn very little salary.”
“We came back six times, the last of them against Petrojet today (which ended 3-2 by the last quarter of an hour), although any small team will be morally affected by the delay in the result with one or two goals.”
Ali Maher went on to talk about Al Ahly’s match in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup, scheduled for April 30 at the Peace Stadium.
“There is nothing conclusive. Assiouti is not afraid of any team and he is very brave for the sake of winning. We will face the best team in Africa and players with strong personalities under the leadership of a great technical manager.”
“We picked up four points from Smouha and six points from Petrojet, although Al Assiouty has recently advanced to the Premier League, knowing that we have won victory over Al Nasr and Raja, who are also newly promoted.”
“My chances of survival in Assiuti are weak and I have several offers to leave, most notably Smouha but I have not made my decision. I have helped the club president choose the new coach for my disagreement,” he said.
