An autopsy must be performed Wednesday to try to clarify the circumstances of this strange death. A partially calcined body was discovered Saturday in a meadow at Soultz-sous-forêts, north of Hagueneau (Bas-Rhin). The gendarmes of Wissembourg, on the German frontier, are in charge of the investigation.
According to a source close to the file, it could be a man, about forty years old. But the victim, who has several burns, has not yet been identified.
The hypothesis of a homicide is envisaged but all the tracks are studied.
