Altri sinks another 9.6%. Already lost 258.5 million in two days

Altri sank another 9.6% on the stock market, in the second negative session for the company, thus accumulating a loss of 258.5 million euros in market capitalization. Penalized by two negative “research” scores after the presentation of results, the quoted company was the one that fell the most in the PSI index, which closed down 0.43% to 6,096.99 points.

CaixaBank/BPI cut both its target price and Altri’s recommendation. Analyst Bruno Bessa reduced the “target” to 7.50 euros, still pointing to a potential for appreciation and above the analysts’ consensus (6.68 euros). The recommendation was revised downwards from “buy” to “neutral”.

The note known this Monday follows another, on Friday, in which Bestinver warned that the results of the company led by José Soares de Pina may have already reached their peak, waiting for the price of paper pulp to begin to fall in the second half of the year. Altri bonds thus sank 9.64% to 5.20 euros in this Monday’s session. The entire paper and pulp sector was punished in the session. Navigator lost 2.58% to 3.92 euros per share, while Semapa lost 1.54% to 14.06 euros per share.

Among the remaining listed companies in the index, Sonae (-1.62% to 1.09 euros), Galp Energia (-1.46% to 10.13 euros) and BCP (-0.9% to 0.1432 euros). In total, seven of the 15 listed companies of the PSI were devalued. CTT remained unchanged, at 3.34 euros.

In the opposite direction, the remaining seven listed closed, with the electric ones on the rise. REN gained 0.72% to 2.78 euros, EDP Renováveis ​​rose 0.99% to 25.55 euros, EDP advanced 0.77% to 4.98 euros and Greenvolt added 0.23% to 8, 84 euros. Even so, Nos led the gains, rising 1.14% to 3.74 euros. Jerónimo Martins and Corticeira Amorim also valued at the session.
