Former American Idol candidate Antonella Barba was reportedly arrested for allegedly attempting to distribute heroin. See the season 6 lookup photo of competitors here.

Antonella Barba, who is known for her appearance in the sixth season American idol, was arrested for allegedly attempting to distribute heroin TMZ, The singer was arrested at 11:30 am in Virginia on October 11 and faces a 100g or more heroin distribution crime, Norfolk Sheriff's office said. There are not many details at the moment, but Barba, 31, is still being held in custody without a bail and is scheduled for trial next week.

Barba stepped up idol back in 2007, and was eliminated before season 6 top 12 were selected, after a bit of setting from the Posing in the World War II Memorial Source in Washington, DC in a wet T-shirt.

This is not Barbas first confrontation with the law. In 2011, she was reportedly arrested for shoplifting in New York City. This did not seem to stop them, in a series of fear factor the following year, though. During the episode, titled "Roach Coach," Barba competed with a woman named Jenna. The duo – who said they had a vocal business together – was eliminated in the first round when Jenna left.

Barba made a television appearance at the beginning of the year Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel reunited a number of former idol Stars for a special musical segment "Where are they now?". The former participants, including the winners Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks, recorded a song similar to the 1985 "We Are the World", in which every singer explained what he has done since his season.
