The details of the story go back to the fact that an Egyptian woman named Amani Muhammad, 38, from the village of Mit Suhail in the city of Minya al-Qamh in Sharkia Governorate, managed to save two women and 4 children from death by drowning in the water near the Abu Drum Bridge in the Minya al-Qamh district. Not only did the lady do that, but she provided first aid to the two women and the four children before they were transferred to the hospital.

The girl explained, in an interview with the Egyptian media, that she is married to the village of Naamna, and her husband works in the state of Italy, and while she was on her way 4 days ago from her village to the city in a “Tuk-Tuk” vehicle, she was surprised by the occurrence of a car overturning accident with two women and 4 children on board in the waters of the canal and a number of Residents awaiting the arrival of the rescue forces to rescue them.

The girl added that she got out of the “tuk tuk” and used an iron piece and jumped into the water and managed to smash the car’s windows to save the car’s passengers before they died of suffocation and drowning.

Surprisingly, however, security officials in Sharkia Governorate confirmed that there were no reports of any incident of people drowning in the region during the last period, nor were there any witnesses to it, according to Al-Arabiya.

The officials also confirmed that the incident was fabricated, and that the city hospital did not receive any cases of drowning or injured people in a car rollover accident during the past days, and the ambulance facility did not receive any reports or write any records related to the incident.
