Andreas Ender: “Money can still be made with black gold”

But let’s start at the beginning: The tire service group has been in existence for over 40 years. It originated in Pinneberg in northern Germany. This is where the headquarters of Reifen Engelhardt was located. At that time, the company was the fourth largest tire dealer in Germany with 80 branches nationwide. Rolf Engelhardt had constantly expanded in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and was then completely taken over by Firestone in the 1970s. After that things went downhill and the company was liquidated in 1980.
